"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as
faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms."

1 Peter 4:10

Hello Spring!! Hopefully, everyone has been enjoying some of the nice days we have been having, although we could certainly do without all the wind. The Spring Tri-State Rally held in Radcliff, Iowa was attended by Ann Romo, Dorothy Hjermstad, Heather Olson, Jan Strand and Mary Aadahl. The speaker of the day was Emily Raan and she spoke about living in Uganda. The ladies also made placemats with fabric from Uganda.

On Sunday, May 19, we will recognize our graduating seniors; Josiah Trost, Isaiah Tennessen, Bethany Trelstad and Rueben Johnson. Ann Romo and Ali Coulter have made each of them a lovely quilt which will be presented to them during the church service. The WMF will also be serving cake for the coffee hour. God's blessing to these young people as they start a new chapter in their lives. May the quilt they receive remind them of their church family here at Emmanuel.

Looking ahead:

WMF Day will be on Wednesday, June 12, at the FLBCS Campus in Plymouth. Any ladies interested should check out the website where you can register. The theme is "Rejoice in the Lord always!".
Our annual Guest Night Salad Supper is planned for Tuesday, June 18 at 6 PM. Devotions will be by Eileen Burgess, decorations by Lori Thompson, hostesses will be Eileen Burgess, Ann Romo, Twila Simonson and Margaret Greseth. Ann Romo has booked Pati Kachel for the program where Pati will tell the story of Hans Nielsen Hauge. All WMF members are asked to bring a salad and invite guests. The WMF will supply bread and butter.

The farmers are busy in the fields so please watch out for them on the roads.

Genesis 26:12 “Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, because the LORD blessed him.”
